Aled Brew Announces His Retirement

The former Wales winger has now decided to call it a day at the age of 34 following his short term deal expiration with the Scarlets. On his social media, the nine capped Wales international stated, 'After 17 years in the game I've finally made the decision to hang up the boots.'

Although most of our community probably reflect on the high's and low's of Brews career at Bath, he is one of just four Welshmen to have played for all four Welsh regions having stints at the Ospreys, Cardiff Blues, Newport Dragons and Scarlets. For a bonus point, can you name the others?

He's been an excellent servant to British Rugby over the past 17 years and has shown himself to be an all-round, multi-talented and gifted winger.
