Well here it is... Here it finally is. No more milking squad speculations, no more back row hypothesises or second row conundrums, the official squad is now announced... Gosh, that's really going to hurt the adsense. Reading through the names listed, it's largely what was predicted by the majority of pundits with a couple of surprise packages sprinkled in there for good use. It certainly an older squad than those gone by (I swear I'm not just basing that off of AWJ's inclusion in that average) with buckets of experience in each position; Eggchasers did mention earlier this week that it was worrying how many players are likely to be picked on past accomplishments, let that worrying commence. But in all seriousness, I like the squad, I think picking a Lions squad in 2021 is incredibly difficult. It's easy to point to certain names as to why and what if, but with the current climate and the tour being in jeopardy just a month or two ago, I'll take what I can get!
