When you look at the weekends fixtures and you see over 15 games being played on the tele, you can only imagine the gates we'd be seeing at Rugby clubs up and down the country. However, soon we won't have to imagine that any longer... BBC are reporting that a maximum of 4,000 fans are set to be allowed at large outdoor events in the lowest risk areas of the UK; this will be after lockdown finishes on the 2nd.
Supposedly we are due an announcement later this evening about the potential return of crowds to our beloved stadiums. The statement is set to be made at the House of Commons and MPs will then vote on it later this week.
BBC went on to report that up to 2,000 fans will be allowed in tier two areas but 0 in tier three; not that it would effect Sale's gate much anyway... I'M JOKING!
What do you think? Are you exciting to have the opportunity to see live Rugby once again?
