Now we aren't the biggest fan of the 'World Rugby Rankings', believing it to be baseless and lacking logic, but it would be impossible to not comment on it's current state. How South Africa can grow in dominance by not playing a game whilst others around them go on win streaks longer than their own against top 5 and top 10 opposition baffles us; surely they forfeited 6 matches from the 'Rugby Championship' which should mean they should fall down the pecking order?
However, the 'World Rugby Rankings make for particularly grim reading if you're a Welsh or All Blacks fan. Wales have now fallen to NINTH in the 'World Rugby Rankings' after their terrible performance against Ireland on Friday night. It's the first time in 8 years since Wales slipped to such a low position; it worked out for them though being seeded third in the group of death against England and Australia... Us England fans don't like to talk about that though...
The Huge Argentinian win over the All Blacks has seen the Pumas jump above Pivac's side which could yet again land Wales as a third seed for the 2023 Rugby World Cup. New Zealand as a result slipped below England, as Foster has won just 2 of his opening 5 fixtures with the Kiwis.
It's time to look forward to the weekend and Pivac has to beat this 12th place Georgian outfit to avoid plunging Wales into their lowest spot this decade.
